The Keepers of Time
In Celtic mythology, trees were seen as portals to the Otherworld. The Druids built their lives around worshiping trees; they believed trees were not just sacred beings but also teachers, healers, and guardians. Forests and groves were seen as sanctuaries—places where the veil was thin and communing with other realms was possible.
Since I was a child, I have been drawn to trees. I could sense their power and the depth of wisdom they embodied. They always made me feel safe, and they spoke in a language of unconditional love. As a sensitive child, I found being in the presence of trees incredibly grounding and calming.
There are certain trees that have been with me my whole life—my “Tree Council,” if you will. They have watched over me, provided insight when I was seeking answers, held me when streams of my tears ran down their trunk, and always reminded me how loved and protected I am. They carried my secrets and listened to my stories. They were my constant companions and still are...
This section is dedicated to the magic, wisdom, beauty, and healing powers of all the trees I have encountered on my journey thus far. I hope that these photos inspire you to look at the trees closest to you and that you form a connection with them. They are here for you, and they want to connect with you.
May we continue to listen, learn, and observe them, and most of all, may we treat the trees around us with love, care, and respect, for they are the keepers of time and the keepers of stories.

Standing at the threshold between worlds,
where earth and sky meet,
the oak — king of the forest —
stands sacred to the Celts,
carrying the spirit of both heaven and earth.
"By the well, before the gate, there stands a linden tree; in its shadow I have dreamed full many a sweet dream.” - W. Müller
The ancient Darrow River and this enchanting tree felt as old as time itself. Its name—drawn from aurus, the Roman word for gold- lingers like a spell. The river whispers of the days when seekers knelt at its banks, sifting gold from its sacred waters.

"I have always seen the maple as a tree of balance, a tree that sits between the worlds. Maple as a tree of gentleness and yet as a door opener." – The Druid’s Garden
